One of the most important guitarists of today, a celebrated Montenegrin artist Miloš Karadaglić, will perform at the concert titled “London Calling”, which will be held on July 30th at the Army House Auditorium in “Porto Montenegro”. The special guest of the evening will be Alison Balsom, a world-renowned trumpeter and one of the most influential figures in contemporary classical music.
This concert is a co-production of the KotorArt International Festival and the Tivat Music Festival, and is being created in cooperation with the festival's long-standing and important partners, "Porto Montenegro" and "Montenegro Sotheby's International Realty".

Miloš Karadaglić, is one of the world's most sought-after guitarists, whose performances have filled halls across Europe, America and Asia. He is characterized by exceptional musical sensibility and charisma, and has performed in the most prestigious concert halls such as the “Royal Albert Hall”, “Carnegie Hall”, “Concertgebouw”, and collaborated with top orchestras and conductors. His albums for the “Deutsche Grammophon” label have topped the music charts, and he is the winner of numerous international awards. He also recorded the soundtrack for the animated film “When Marnie Was There” (Studio Ghibli, 2014). He released a series of four books for learning classical guitar - “Playing Guitar with Miloš”, in 2018, published by “Schott Music”.
Alison Balsom, a British trumpeter and multi-award winning artist, is renowned for her exceptional tone, technical precision and elegant performance. She was named “Artist of the Year” by Gramophone magazine and has won several Classical BRIT and ECHO awards. She has performed worldwide with some of the greatest conductors and orchestras of our time, including Pierre Boulez, Lorin Maazel, Claudio Abbado, as well as with the New York Philharmonic, Philadelphia Orchestra and London Philharmonic, as well as with “The Balsom Ensemble”, a carefully selected ensemble of leading Baroque soloists. She pays particular attention to contemporary repertoire, which significantly contributes to the promotion of the trumpet in classical music.
Miloš and Alison have already performed together on international stages, and the "London Calling" concert represents a continuation of their successful collaboration, which the festival audience in Montenegro has the opportunity to experience for the first time.
