A gesture of admiration for Slovenian footballers, a moment that transcends sports, goals, victory... Guys Matjaža Kek during the match with Denmark at the start of the European Championship, they wore a black flower in honor of ours Matija Šarkić.

The Slovenians asked UEFA to wear the flag, the answer from the European house of football was positive, and after the match the coach of the "dragons" spoke about everything.

"When such a tragedy happens, when a young man passes away, who had his life ahead of him, then you simply have to be sad. It's just a gesture of respect for someone who, unfortunately, is no longer there," Kek said, as quoted by the Slovenian Team24.

Matija Šarkić, the goalkeeper of the national team of Montenegro, died suddenly yesterday at the age of 27.

"He is one of ours, from our sport - on behalf of the entire team and the Football Association of Slovenia, I express my deepest condolences to his family and friends," concluded the great Slovenian expert.
