After the desperate games at the European Championship, Serbia will get a new coach.
According to the media in that country, the Football Association of Serbia has already prepared the resignations for Dragan Stojković and general secretary Jovan Šurbatović.
"Although he recently signed a new contract until 2026, Stojković will be dismissed because of the overall bad image that Serbia has left on the continental football show," writes "Mozzartsport".
Serbia finished Euro 2024 behind England, Denmark and Slovenia.
"The Eagles finished the competition as one of the worst teams in the championship. No victory, two points, only one scored goal, weak and slow football, lost authority over individual national team members... All this created a bad image of the participation in the EP", adds the same media .
As stated, it remains to be seen how the FSS and Pixi part ways, given the current contract according to which he has a monthly salary of 100.000 euros and in case of dismissal, he would have to receive 10 monthly salaries.
"Cooperation can be terminated by mutual agreement, and it can also go to arbitration."
"Sportski žurnal" emphasizes that Stojković has already earned a bonus of 1.298.000 euros in addition to his monthly salary in the name of premiums for palmistry at the EP
