The entire midfield, two wings and one defender - the players of the new champion of the Old Continent are expected to make up the majority of the ideal Euro 2024 team.
Uefa announced the best 11 by positions, and six places went to the players of the Spanish national team - Marko Kukurelja, Rodrigo, Fabijan Ruis, Dani Olmo, Nick Williams and Lamin Jamal.
The rest of Europe filled the remaining positions - Frenchman Mike Megno is the best goalkeeper, and Kukurelji is joined in defense by Kyle Walker (England), Manuel Akanji (Switzerland) and William Saliba (France).
The midfield was reserved for Rodi, Olm and Ruiz, and the only "intruder" in the attack besides Williams and Jamal was the German Jamal Musial.
The ideal team was chosen by the UEFA technical team consisting of Fabio Capello, Joan Lupescu, Michael O'Neill, David Moyes, Aljoša Asanović, Rafael Benitez, Avram Grant, Pat Bonner, Frank de Boer, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Aitor Karanka and Jean-François Domerg.
