The goal of the 17-year-old Spanish footballer Lamin Jamal in the semi-final of the European Championship against France was declared the most beautiful goal of that championship, UEFA announced today.
Jamal was 16 years and 362 days old when he scored the goal, making him the youngest scorer at the European Championships.
The second place was taken by the English football player Jude Bellingham with the goal he scored in the round of 16 against Slovakia, and the third by the Swiss Žerdan Shaqiri with a goal against Scotland in the group stage of the competition.
Among the 10 most beautiful goals chosen by UEFA are the goals of Romanian Nikolae Sanću, Arda Guler from Turkey, Mert Muldur also from Turkey, Fabian Ruis from Spain, Oli Watkins from England, Italian Mati Zakanji and Dutchman Ćavi Simons.
