Prime Minister Duško Marković came to CANA to ask academics for advice on how to make Montenegro unique
"Lighten up those paths for us, academicians. Teach us how to make Montenegro the only home for everyone in Montenegro, and we have known for a long time that this is not the case. How to import all our special identities into one state, not that any national became less valuable, less visible, but on the contrary, he would be comfortable and safe in that one state Montenegrin identity," said Marković.
CANU President Dragan Vukčević says that the state must make a consensus about itself and its path, as it did 10 years ago, when it became independent.
"The Academy is both invited and called upon to help that consensus. How? With understanding, scholarship, patience and prudence. Those qualities that this society has so sorely lacked in its history," said CANU President Dragan Vukčević.
Prime Minister Marković, while appealing to academics for help, reminded society of the biggest problems in Montenegrin society.
"To bring us together and not to divide us. Not by anger between Serbs and Montenegrins, not by controversial dictionaries, not by everyday political classifications, not by mutual misunderstandings and disagreements among the smartest minds of this nation, whether they sit in this house or in another house," Marković said. .
After leaving this house, the Prime Minister was not in the mood for journalistic questions about current political events. This means that journalists have not had the opportunity to ask him a question since the formation of the government a full 15 days ago, although he has spoken at several events.
