Practicing a trade that most people shy away from today has filled the life of Vero Redžić.
"I don't know if I was ten years old, my father went hunting, I broke a watch and by the time he came back from hunting, I had repaired, lubricated, arranged everything...", says Redžić.
Succeeding his father back when Onogošt was a kasaba, Vero opened the first watchmaking shop in Nikšić and one of the first in Montenegro. He acquired the best devices from Switzerland and began to worry about the exact time of his fellow citizens and at the same time train his nerves.
"It's not a problem with nerves only with watches, you have to have nerves with customers as well. Someone comes and says that his watch goes two seconds every year or so. And those are mechanical watches, not quartz," says Redžić with a smile.
After decades of work, Vero took a well-deserved retirement, but the store did not. To be a master, you have to be a student, Milo Radović knew that, who inherited a decent business, from which he still earns a solid income today. He only lacks a student.
"It's hard to find today, no one will sit and work. Here there are no working hours from to. Here you work all day, until the work is done".
