The sidewalk near the Children's Hospital is for cars and that is what bothers pedestrians.
"It often happens that I have to get down to the traffic lane to even get around the cars, my sister has a baby and pushes a stroller, it's an impossible mission to walk on the sidewalk at all."
"We have a problem with the Municipal Police, which is responsible for the control and regularity of roads and public areas."
"This is a sidewalk made for us, not for parking... Look at this... And then let's put it on the sidewalk, shame."
The Municipal Police did not answer our questions, while the Clinical Center points out that the regulation of vehicle parking outside the hospital is not within their jurisdiction.
"Our institution cannot influence the traffic culture of our citizens. We also inform you that no hospital in the world provides parking for citizens," KC announced:
Citizens point out that patients from other cities are pouring into Podgorica and that this is causing crowds.
"We have a large influx of patients who come from other cities to undergo examinations with us. We see Mojkovac plates next to us? It is obvious that the Clinical Center only has to make efforts in order to get a functional parking lot for the Clinical Center."
The Clinical Center replies that you can enter their circle by car or taxi in exceptional cases - only dialysis patients, those who use orthopedic aids, those with urgent medical conditions and those who have been discharged for further home treatment, but without parking.
"Parking of vehicles owned by citizens or patients who use our services, as well as taxis, is not allowed within the Clinical Center. Please note that the Parking Service of the Capital City has provided 300 parking spaces next to the Medical School for the needs of citizens."
Obviously, all that is not enough. Citizens ask themselves - how to fight against this noise?
