The Basic State Prosecutor's Office (ODT) in Rožaje filed a criminal complaint against AK on suspicion of having committed serious crimes against general security.
"Vijesti" was informed by the ODT that they cannot disclose more information about the actions in that case, "because it could affect the conduct of the proceedings".
The suspect is accused of treating her five-year-old daughter with a chemical agent based on etiol, in order to control lice in her hair.
After several days of fighting for her life, the girl died on December 5 in the Clinical Center of Montenegro.
The Rozaj police previously informed "Vijesta" that the mother said that she used a cotton ball to apply a product for head lice to the little girl in the barn.
The doctors told "Vijesti" that the high concentration of that chemical agent caused wounds on the child's head and that the condition the girl was in was shocking.
