As part of the official program of the Bar Municipality Day celebration, the solo exhibition "Voices of Silence" by the academic artist from Bar, Goran Ćetković, was opened the night before last in the "Velimir A. Leković" Gallery.

"With this exhibition, the Bar Cultural Center and the 'Velimir A. Leković' gallery congratulate the people of Bar on Municipality Day, and the Municipality to Goran Ćetković with a great award from the Association of Fine Artists of Montenegro. This exhibition proves to us that Bar got another artist to be proud of," he said. President of the Municipality of Bar Dr. Zoran Srzentić.

Ćetković graduated in 2000 at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Cetinje in the class of prof. Nikola Gvozdenović, and to date he has exhibited at a large number of group exhibitions in the country and abroad, and this is his 18th solo exhibition. He is the laureate of several awards, including the Painting Award of the Association of Fine Artists of Montenegro "Milunović, Stijović, Lubarda" in 2016 for the oil on canvas "Philosopher".

"Goran Ćetković is undoubtedly one of the most expressive and perceptive expressionists of contemporary Montenegrin painting and the creator of an exceptional artistic sensibility, but also a human being who, with his paintings, draws our attention to the lonely man of today who has lost his identity and soul in this world ruled by the principles of social alienation and ethical indifference", wrote Ljiljana Zeković in the catalog of the exhibition.
