Saša Boreta, one of those convicted for the murder of high-ranking police official Slavoljub Šćekić, submitted to the Budva Secretariat for Urban Planning a request for the extension of the construction permit, which was issued to him four years ago.
The request was submitted to the relevant municipal service by his wife Marina, who also brought a power of attorney.
Boreta is serving a 30-year prison sentence in Spuz.
"Please extend my building permit issued on November 26, 2012. Due to objective reasons beyond my control, the validity period of the construction permit you issued to me has expired, and I hereby ask you to meet me and extend the validity period", reads the application signed by Boreta.
Four years ago, the Municipality of Budva issued a building permit for the addition and upgrade of the part of the "Potkošljun" business center that it owns. This facility is located at the entrance to the city, near the large roundabout.
Boreta was allowed to add and upgrade the ground floor, two floors and the attic with a total gross construction area of 539 square meters.
This is also provided for in the valid Detailed Urban Plan "Potkošljun". The permit covers plots 1234 /1 and 1234/9 KO Budva, where, according to the cadastral records of the Real Estate Administration, Boreta is the owner of the first floor with a total area of 120 square meters, while the ground floor of 162 square meters and the yard of 67 square meters are the property of his wife Marina You fight.
