The "Dobričin prsten" award for 2016 went to prominent drama artist Milena Dravić, who thus became the 30th laureate of this highest acting honor in Serbia, announced the Association of Dramatic Artists of Serbia.
The seven-member jury made the decision to award the acting biennial award of the Association of Dramatic Artists of Serbia for the life's work "Dobričin prsten" by secret ballot and by majority vote.
The date and place of the ceremony of handing over the gold copy of the ring of the great Dobrica Milutinović to the winners Milena Dravić will be announced later, the Association of Dramatic Artists of Serbia states in a statement signed by the president of the Association, Vojislav Brajović.
There were 11 prominent actresses and actors in the competition for this year's award, and in addition to the winner Milena Dravić, Livija Banka, Vlastimir Velisavljević, Radmila Živković, Mirjana Karanović, Marko Nikolić, Gorica Popović, Miodrag Radovanović Mrgud, Tihomir Stanić, Saša Torlaković and Dara Djokic.
The jury consisted of actors Jasna Đuričić, the previous winner, Anita Mančić, Predrag Ejdus, who is also the president of the jury, and Vojislav Brajović, as well as playwright Milena Marković and directors Nebojša Bradić and Egon Savin.
The award was supported by the Ministry of Culture and Information of Serbia and the Secretariat for Culture of the City of Belgrade.
