The Bar police arrested RR (74) and his son SR (31) from Valjevo, citizens of the Republic of Serbia residing in Bar, where a large quantity of explosives, as well as cartridges, sticks and firearms were previously found in the family home in Bar.
"Officers of CB Bar yesterday, 17.11.2016/12/20, acting in accordance with operational data, and according to the previously obtained order of the investigating judge of the Basic Court in Bar, searched the apartment and other premises used by RR and SR. The police officers are in the garage used by RR, and which is located within the residential building, they found explosives, means for activating explosives and ammunition, namely: 325 pieces of detonating caps, five pieces of "Nonel" initiator igniters, 2.981 pieces of electric detonating caps, a slow-burning stick, a smoldering fuse, 57 grams of explosives TNT, 15 grams of commercial explosives, an M7,9 hand grenade and XNUMX pieces of call XNUMX mm bullets. The aforementioned explosives and ammunition were taken from RR. Also, during a search of the bedroom used by SR, a firearm was found in the closet - a "Browning" pistol. in illegal possession, which was taken from this person," the police state.
As it is added, the state prosecutor in the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Bar was informed about the event, who stated that in the actions of RR and SR there are elements of the criminal offense of illegal possession of weapons and explosive substances.
"RR and SR have been deprived of their liberty and will be brought to the competent prosecutor along with a criminal report, due to the grounds of suspicion that they have committed the above-mentioned criminal acts. Confiscated explosives, explosive materials, means for activating explosives, ammunition and a gun will be sent to the Forensic Center for expert examination." , it concludes.
