The election assembly of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee (COK) will be held tomorrow in Podgorica, and the only candidate for president will be Dušan Simonović, the association announced.
He has been in that position since May 28, 2003.
His mandate was extended at the Assembly on November 23, 2008, and he received new support on November 3, 2012.
COK announced that, apart from Simonović, no one submitted a candidacy for the presidency.
According to the new Statute, candidacy for president can be submitted by at least three sports federations that are on the program of the Olympic Games.
It was announced that candidacies could be submitted by October 1 at the latest.
The session will be held at the Cultural and Information Center Budo Tomović, and will start at 13 p.m.
