The Montenegrin police seized about 300 kilograms of skunk today in Podgorica and arrested Đon Junčaj on that occasion.
"Officials of the Police Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs seized about 300 kilograms of skunk, the value of which on the drug market of Western Europe, where it is suspected that it was supposed to be smuggled, is estimated at 900.000 euros, and this is considered one of the largest amounts that have been seized in the last period , it was reported from the Police Administration. Skank was found with Đ. J. (21) from Podgorica in a VW Golf III car in the neighborhood of Stari aerodrome. Đ. J. tried to escape, but he was eventually arrested, he says in the announcement of the Police Administration.
The announcement adds that the person was taken to CB Podgorica where, after an inspection of the vehicle, it was determined that there were nine large black travel bags and three jute sacks, with a total of 204 large packages containing drugs.
"Two mobile phones were confiscated from Đ.J., as well as the mentioned vehicle that was used in the commission of the crime," it was announced.
The competent state prosecutor in the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica was informed about the event. Suspect Đ.J. will, along with the criminal complaint, be brought to the prosecutor's office, due to the grounds of suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of unauthorized production, possession and distribution of narcotic drugs. The skank will be sent to the Forensic Center for expert examination.
The police also said that since the beginning of this year, they have seized about 1.400 kilograms of narcotic drugs, of which the most is skanka - about 1.330 kilograms.
