Delegates in the multimedia hall of the Cultural and Information Center "Budo Tomović" will elect a new president. In fact, he won't even have a choice, because the only candidate is Dušan Simonović.
The long-time president of COK announced at the regular session of the Assembly, held before the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, that he will run for a new four-year term.
No spectacular changes are expected at the Electoral Assembly, so Simonović should be at the head of the National Olympic Committee at least until the 2020 Tokyo Olympics are over.
