The Minister of Culture, Pavle Goranović, opened the exhibition "Walk in Memory", dedicated to the actor Predrag Vušović, in the Solidarity Gallery in Kotor.
The exhibition that opened on Friday is a curatorial project of the artist Jagoda Buić and the Society for Cultural Cooperation Perun from Zagreb.
As announced by the Ministry, Goranović, opening the exhibition, pointed to the link between the creativity of Jagoda Buić and Predrag Pređ Vušović - their, as he said, Mediterranean refuge - "the starting point that provides a special sensibility for the intensive penetration of the luxurious elements of nature and the top achievements of culture". .
"Predj's rich life experience, which took place so intensively in language, pushed him to try himself in the most essential language expression - in verses. And there, Pređo proved to be a consistent representative of the Mediterranean spirit, skilfully summarizing linguistic and experiential abundance in the croc of a poetic form seasoned with fine irony and drinkable humor," said Goranović.
The director of the museum "Muzeji" Kotor, Andro Radulović, thanked the author of the exhibition, Buić, for her involvement in the realization of the project, stating that she restored faith in eternity and love in a special way.
"Because with this exhibition, we are telling Pređa that we are still with him, that we are here because of him, deeply grateful to his work," added Radulović.
The verses of Pređ Vušović were recited by director Petar Pejaković.
The exhibition, which was staged in Kotor after Dubrovnik, marks five years since the death of actor Predrag Pređ Vušović.
The organizers of the exhibition are the Ministry of Culture, "Museums" Kotor and the Society for Cultural Cooperation Perun from Zagreb.
