Organized by the Municipality of Berana, i.e. the Secretariat for Sport, Culture, Youth and Cooperation with NGOs and the Public Institution Polimski Museum Berana, an exhibition of artistic creations of preschool, primary and secondary school students from this city was opened.
The exhibition presented 63 works of art, on canvas and paper, by students of the preschool institution "Radmila Nedić", students of the elementary schools "Vuk Karadžić", "Vukašin Radunović", "Radomir Mitrović", "Polica", "Donja Ržanica", "Lubnice", "Vladislav Rajko Korać" - Štitari, and students of the Panto Mališić Gymnasium and the "Dr. Branko Zogović" Secondary Medical School.
The secretary of the departmental secretariat, Zoran Jojić, said that the works presented at the exhibition represent the most beautiful gift and the true discovery of the wealth of youth.
"We have you and we can say that Berane has a future that today confirmed the most beautiful and subtle thoughts and experiences of joy expressed through the works of art that are in front of us" - said Jojić.
He added that this exhibition should be a renewal of some traditional manifestations, which through artistic expression and initiatives of cultural events of children and young people, can be a driver and an agent that is at the same time universal but also concrete, equally filled and defined by the past, open to the present and directed towards the future.
"Such an agent can constitute a new urban cultural identity as an expression of urban and in synergy of different identities it can be an expression of multiculturalism and encouragement of their uniqueness as something interesting, attractive and rich" - said Jojić.
School principals and teacher-mentors were presented with certificates of appreciation and diplomas.
A good part of the art works in this exhibition was created at the "Children Draw on Asphalt" demonstration, which was held a few days ago on the plateau in front of the Municipality building.
