Dutch citizen Sulejman Agović (18) was not injured while trying to avoid a cow in a "Porsche" on the road leading from Štoj to the watchtower on Bojana, but the damage to the expensive car is estimated at more than 10.000 euros.
In the accident on the night between Monday and Tuesday, his co-driver and owner of the car, Izet Demir, suffered a minor concussion.
"We managed to avoid the cow somehow and returned to the road, but we were met by a 'lying policeman' that someone illegally placed there, outside of all rules and standards. In the impact, we broke the right wheel and landed in the meadow", said Demir.
After the report, the police quickly came to the scene, conducted an investigation and established that the accident was caused by improper speed.
Because of this, Agović paid a fine of 110 euros yesterday.
"And the fact that cattle are wandering on the road and that anyone can place a lying policeman even on an unlit part of the road is nothing to anyone," said Demir.
