Easily with Morač in the final, Galeb won the cup for the second time

There was not much uncertainty in the finals of the Montenegrin Volleyball Women's Cup. Galeb almost routinely and very convincingly defeated the Morača team 3:0 and in its fourth final reached the cup in this competition for the second time in the club's history, after it was the best in 2010. Morača, on the other hand, lost the second final, after being defeated by Luka Bar in 2013.

Morača opened the match better and gained a few points advantage, but the fighting Baranka did not give up, they quickly turned around and with little effort, but also a great game, primarily by Evgenije Milivojević, won the first set.

It seems that everything was resolved right then, because in the second and third periods, motivated and full of self-confidence, the Galeb players, supported by the support from the stands, dominated from start to finish and easily reached the maximum triumph and great celebration.

The winner's cup was presented to Galeb captain Nikoleta Vujović by the president of the Volleyball Association of Montenegro Cvetko Pajković, while Baranka was awarded gold medals by a member of the OSCG presidency, Nikola Vujačić, otherwise Galeb president. Pajković presented the first man of Rudar and member of the OSCG presidency, Miodrag-Mitek Marković, with a certificate of thanks for the excellent organization and contribution to the development of volleyball in Pljevlja.

"I admit that we secretly hoped for this, especially after winning the semi-final. I am overjoyed, because we really made a great result, which maybe we will only be aware of tomorrow, when our heads cool down. I congratulate the host for the excellent organization, the opponent for the game shown, and especially to our fans who came from Bar to support us," said Galeb coach Nikola Masoničić.

Morača coach Marko Radusinović congratulated Galeb on the well-deserved victory.

"I can't say that I'm not satisfied, despite the defeat. We played the finals, two games in a great atmosphere. We managed to beat an excellent team from Rudar and get into a situation where such a young team is fighting for the trophy and that in the best organized so far the final tournament of the Cup, which is why the host deserves all the praise," said Radusinović.
