Galeb and Morača shocked Luka Bar and Rudar to reach the finals

The "projected" losers in the semi-finals, Galeb and Morača, will fight in tomorrow's final (18 p.m.) for the cup in the Montenegro Cup, while Luka Bar and the host of the tournament, Rudar, will have to wait a little longer for a similar opportunity.

Sensation in the first game of the final tournament of the Montenegrin Cup for women's volleyball in Pljevlja - Galeb, whose coach Nikola Masoničić announced before the final tournament that they would try to tactically surprise the opponent, after a big turn, managed to beat the "already seen" winner of the trophy, Luka Bar and makes it to the finals.

The five-time winner of the most massive competition (six times in total), who did not lose a single match until the final tournament (all 18 victories in the championship, with only two lost sets), relatively quickly reached a lead of 2:0 in the sets and it was only waiting for him to finish routinely work.

However, the persistent Galeba girls (who lost a 24:21 advantage in the first set) did not give up, they first reduced the score, then won the fourth period, and then in that break showed what material they are made of.

They led, then lost, saved two match points at 12:14, and then won three tied points on the serve of Ivana Đukić (the match ball was scored from the counter by Teodora Čavić) for placement in the final and a big celebration.

There was no surprise in the second semi-final either, in which the Morača team deservedly defeated the indisposed Pljevlja women and had a good chance to win the trophy.

From the first to the last point, the guests dominated both in the field and at the net and on the serve, making much fewer mistakes, so the question of the winner was not even raised at any moment.

There was a bit more excitement only in the second set, which Morača won on the difference, although Rudar had two set points, while the other two were done practically routinely.

Galeb will play the fourth Cup final - he won once, in 2010 against Luka Bar with 3:1, while he was defeated twice in the trophy match, in 2011 and 2015, both times by Luka Bar (2:3, 1 :3).

Morača, on the other hand, is playing its second final, having lost the first in 2013 to Luka Bar with 3:2.
