Retired police officer Dragan Popović claims that his Suzuki car was set on fire early yesterday morning in the Zagorič neighborhood of Podgorica.
Last night, the "Vijesti" team photographed Popović and the car, which was completely destroyed in the fire.
The police did not answer whether anyone was detained for setting the car on fire.
"My car was for some time in front of the 'Šarović service', where it was being repaired. The son of the owner of the service informed me that my car burned down in a fire around half past seven," said Popović.
He added that he had information that it was doused with gasoline from the front and back and that it was set on fire.
"I think one of the neighbors called the fire brigade. The police team conducted an investigation this morning. I don't know who could set the car on fire," Popović told "Vijesta" yesterday.
The journalist tried to get a comment about the event from the "Šarović" car service, but the company's phone number, available on the Internet, was disconnected.
