Poetic propaganda is a project of the Literary Club "Poenta Poetika", which is recognized in Nikšić circles through the promotion of young poets and their association with the public. This project, as club president Goran Radojičić says, is the revival of poetry and the affirmation of young poets.
"The project is equivalent to that saying: If Muhammad doesn't want a hill, he wants a hill for Muhammad. Our desire is to reach as many young people as possible and to achieve the main goal of this manifestation, which is the affirmation and inclusion of young people in the cultural and social life of Nikšić in general", said Radojičić.
He explained that for half a year they have been visiting Nikšić's pubs, urban and popular places in the city in order to expand their mission, revive poetry, and he especially points out that a large number of young people who write, i.e. those who, with the help of this project, have found the courage to performances.
"In accordance with European trends, and what is current in the biggest cultural centers of the Balkans, Belgrade, Zagreb, Sarajevo, we leave the halls, formal programs and make poetry and literature receptive to those for whom it is intended, the readers," Radojičić points out.
At the last evening of "Poetry Propaganda" in the "Portun" tavern, seven poets from the "Poenta Poetics" Literary Club participated who read their poetry and two female reciters who opened and closed the evening with verses from the poems "Zrijevane i dogorijevane" and "Peroni" by Vukman Otašević . Radojičić explained that the organizers are JU "Zahumlje", KK "Poenta Poetika" and tavern "Portun", and everything was held within the framework of the Culture Development Support Program in Nikšić.
Radojičić says that they don't shy away from "formal places" either, and that an evening of such character awaits them soon.
"We will celebrate the World Poetry Day in Zahumlje with friends from the Forum of Young Writers of KIC by promoting the collection of works by the members of the Mozaik Literary Club 'Poenta Poetika'," announced Radojičić.
