Nikšić: They wanted to take the safe because they couldn't break it

Goran Nikitović (28) and DP (17) from Nikšić were arrested on reasonable suspicion that they had committed the criminal offense of aggravated theft.

The two tried to rob the "Roda" supermarket early this morning around 2,40:13 a.m., which is located in the Nikšić suburb of Kličevo, on "XNUMX .jul" Street.

As "Vijesta" was unofficially told by the police, Nikitović and DP smashed the metal warehouse door at the back of the building with a machete, went inside and went straight to the office where the safe with money was located, having previously moved the crates of drinks to which they were encountered.

They also smashed the office door with a mace and tried to break into the safe containing 6.000 euros. As they did not succeed, they took the safe and headed for the exit where they were met by the police and arrested.

Namely, members of Nikšić of the Security Center as part of regular planning activities on suppression theft during the evening hours they visit larger shops and others objects, so that they found themselves in front of the "Roda" supermarket in at the moment when the thieves were leaving it.

Nikitović and his minor accomplice were brought before the deputy primary state prosecutor, who qualified the act as aggravated theft.
