A museum dedicated to one of the greatest comedians of all time, Charlie Chaplin, will open on April 17 near Vevey in Switzerland, announced the group that also owns the Greven museum.
The legendary actor spent the last 25 years of his life in Switzerland, and the museum will be opened on the 127th anniversary of his birth (1889-1977).
The museum dedicated to the star of the films "The Dictator", "The Lights of the Stage", "The Tramp", "The Immigrant", "The Gold Rush" and "A Dog's Life" will be in a house in Corsier-sur-Veve, above Lake Geneva.
Chaplin lived in that house with Una Chaplin, daughter of the American writer Eugene O'Neill, and their eight children.
