Pediatrician of Bjelopolje Hospital Adrijana Kočović Vojinović said that neonatologist Haka Tahirović inaccurately and tendentiously informed parents of babies, telling them that she and pediatrician Jela Cimbaljević were unprofessional.

She stated this yesterday in the High Court during the continuation of the trial of the doctors of the Bjelopolje Hospital accused of infecting babies in November 2014, one of whom died.

Doctors Tomislav Jeremić, Zvonko Puletić, Tahirović and Cimbaljević were accused of a serious crime against people's health.

"It was difficult for us to enter neonatology and it was difficult to access patients and the administration because of Haka", said Vojinović Kočović.

She claims that Tahirović knew about the baby's infection when baby Rakočević Salemović was transferred to that ward.

She said that the condition of that baby was fine on November 12 and that she was transferred from the maternity hospital to neonatology a day later due to a slightly elevated CRP as a precaution, as several babies had already been referred to the Clinical Center.

"After five hours, the baby started moaning, screaming, crying, foaming, after which she was urgently transported to Podgorica," she said.

She added that she was aware that there were problems with the organization of transporting baby Knežević.

Nurse Ljubinka Zejak said that former mayor Tahirović asked her to look at baby Ignjatović - who was dirty yellow in color, but that she told her to call Jela Cimbaljević.

After Tahirović asked Sister Zejak if the baby had a crisis and she answered in the negative, she said:

"The baby is not in crisis, I will not intervene".

Gynecologist Blažo Varagić said that hygiene in the gynecology-obstetrics department at the time of the infection was at a satisfactory level, and this was confirmed by specialist anesthesiologist Dr. Sabahudin Kajević.
