Vukićević is the best in Kolašin

Gorštak's table tennis player, Radoslav Vukićević, is the winner of the Kolašin ping pong qualifying tournament.

In the final match, he defeated Asim Bećiragić from Spin Unika 2:1.

Vukićević beat Lazar Janičić 2:0 in the semi-finals, while Bećiragić was better than clubmate Nenad Raičević 2:1.

He is the third winner of the qualifying tournament, after Orhan Bećiragić from Spin Unika won in Podgorica, and Jeton Osmani from Valdanos in Ulcinj.

The director of the Confucius Institute, the sponsor of the qualifications, Deng Rong, also participated in the tournament in Kolašin, where 15 table tennis players competed.

Osmani is the leader in the ranking list, for which results from all last year's and this year's tournaments are calculated, with 720 points.

In second place is Orhan Bećiragić with 530, while the third-placed Raičević has ten points less.

The Montenegrin qualifications for the World Ping Pong Championship, which will be played in London on January 23 and 24, began with the tournament in Ulcinj.

It was announced that the qualification tournaments in Montenegro will be played in all cities where there are clubs.

Qualifications will continue tomorrow in BIjelo Polje (11:16) and Mojkovac (16:XNUMX), while qualifications are scheduled for Thursday in Nikšić (XNUMX:XNUMX).

According to the proposals, the competition will be played in two stages - qualification and top 16 after the qualification stage.

The top 16 players will play four rounds to determine the correct order with the winners of each round moving into the top half of the order and the losers into the bottom half.

The prize fund of the World Championship amounts to 100 thousand dollars, and the right to perform will be given to 64 competitors, winners of qualifying tournaments.

Last year, Viktor Rogić, Golden player table tennis player, triumphed at the Montenegrin qualifiers.

He performed at the championship in London, where English table tennis player Andrew Baggaley won the gold medal.
