The police officers who were accused of abusing three young men in the center of Podgorica in February of this year are still negotiating with the prosecutor's office about a plea bargain.
That's why the trial in Podgorica's Basic Court was postponed until December 27.
Prosecutor Miroslav Turković and the defense of the five policemen informed the judge Larisa Mijušković Stamatović that negotiations regarding the settlement are still ongoing and asked the court to postpone the trial.
Members of the Podgorica Police Intervention Unit Mladen Vujović, Slavko Furtula, Vukoman Maraš, Marko Stojanović and Miloš Bečanović are policemen who, as seen in the video published on February 20, beat three young men in the center of Podgorica on Saturday, February 17.
