The police officers accused of abusing three young men in the center of Podgorica in February this year want to settle with the prosecutor's office on a plea bargain.
The trial was supposed to start today in the Basic Court in Podgorica, but immediately before the hearing, the defense attorney Dragoljub Đukanović sent the judge Larisa Mijušković Stamatović a notice that they will try to settle.
Members of the Podgorica Police Intervention Unit Mladen Vujović, Slavko Furtula, Vukoman Maraš, Marko Stojanović and Miloš Bečanović are police officers who, as can be seen on the video that was published on February 20, beat three young men in the center of Podgorica on Saturday, February 17.
