The "Days of Mirko Kovač" event will be opened tomorrow at 19:XNUMX in Rovinj, with the performance of Predrag Lucić and Boris Dežulović, their "Melody of the Mob and the Elite".
On the following day, three round tables are planned - the first is "Eternal imprisonment - literature and politics from Hamsun to Uelbek" in which Aleš Debeljak, Enver Kazaz, Branko Kukić, Tomislav Brlek, Predrag Lucić will participate, and the moderator is Seid Serdarević. The second round table, moderated by Vlaho Bogišić, was called "Elite worse than the mob - today's elites and their relationship to culture", and the participants were Milan Rakovac, Boris Dežulović, Gordana Nonin, Božidar Koprivica, Svetlana Slapšak and Nedžad Ibrahimović.
Oto Horvat, Dragan Markovina, Igor Štiks, Nenad Popović, Gavrilo Grahovac, Novica Milić participate in the discussion on the topic "Grave in a foreign country - exile as fate and curse". At 20:2014 on the same day, a screening of the film "Nobody's Child" by Vuk Ršumović, winner of the "Mirko Kovač" award for XNUMX, is planned.
On the third day of the event, a round table "Lights out in a European tavern - nationalisms today as a literary fact" will be held, in which Miljenko Jergović, Filip David, Laslo Vegel, Borka Pavićević, Katarina Luketić will participate. On the same evening, the "Mirko Kovač" award ceremony will be organized.
