In the area of the Cijevna canyon, mobile teams of the Customs Administration and border guards of the Police Administration found 85 packages of cut tobacco intended for illegal sale.
The Customs Administration announced that 68 kilograms of tobacco, worth 750 euros, was seized on September 7.
A day later, officers of the Dobrakovo Customs Office found and seized 70 liters of undeclared alcoholic beverages.
Alcohol was found during an inspection of a freighter with Serbian license plates, driven by a Serbian citizen. "The goods were hidden in the tool compartment in the back of the cargo motor vehicle," UC said.
