British actress Millie Bobby Brown, the teenage star of the drama series "Stranger Things", has been named the youngest UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador who plans to fight abuse and poverty.
Braun (14), the youngest person to make it to the list of the 100 most influential people in the world by "Time" magazine, was given that role in the United Nations representative office, marking World Children's Day, Hina agency reports.
"My dreams have come true. I look forward to meeting a large number of children and young people, hearing their stories and speaking on their behalf," said Brown.
Brown was nominated for two Emmy Awards for her role in the Netflix series "Stranger Things," which follows the case of a missing boy, Will, in a small town in Indiana in the 1980s.
