Performance of the festival orchestra for the end

The Bar Chronicle, the 28th in a row, was solemnly closed with a concert by the festival orchestra "Sveti Petar Cetinjski" on the plateau in front of King Nikola's Castle. After 42 days and a total of 70 programs in the official and accompanying program, the curtain came down on the international multimedia festival in Bar.

In contrast to the unimpressive opening, the ending of the Chronicles was classy in every sense. Under the leadership of conductors Radovan Papović and Vili Ferdinandi, the orchestra performed parts of the opera "The Balkan Empress", and the sopranos Aleksandra Vojvodić-Jovović, Bojana Pejanović, Milica Raičević, Tijana Blečić and Lana-Asija Dabović also sang Russian romances, popular opera arias and variations domestic folk songs. Violinists Luka Perazić and Dina Desančić had solo points.

The orchestra, conductors and sopranos were rewarded with the well-deserved thunderous applause of a large audience, and for the encore, the young violinist Luka Perazić with the orchestra repeated Williams' theme "Schindler's List".

Such a representative program was the appropriate finale of the festival crescendo that began on Wednesday last week with an anthological tribute to the great Yugoslav literature Danilo Kiš, in whose honor the promotion of the book "Birth Certificate" by the British Mark Thompson, and the exhibitions "Artistic Expressions of Danilo Kiš" and "Secret face of the book", with reprints of the covers of foreign editions of Kish's works.
