Nišlija Goran Stojanović (45), who was arrested three days ago in Budva, was sent to the Investigation Prison yesterday.
The police suspect that he first robbed and then attacked the tourists with a knife.
According to "Vijesti" information, on July 16 in the afternoon, Stojanović intercepted two female tourists on Slovenska beach, stole their bag and ran away.
A tourist from Serbia who happened to be on Slovenska beach called out to Stojanović to stop and return his bag. Stojanović turned, took out a knife and walked towards the man, and at that moment he handed over the stolen bag to the helper. He threatened tourists from Serbia and then fled.
The robbery was reported to the police, but Nišlija was arrested only on July 19, when he was found too late on the street by a tourist who tried to save his victims. The investigative judge of the Kotor court Spiro Pavićević confirmed to "Vijesti" that he accepted the prosecutor's proposal and ordered Stojanović to be detained for up to 30 days. Nišlija is charged with the criminal offense of robbery.
