Savo Todorović from Cetinje, the uncle of the nineteen-year-old NT who was killed on Wednesday evening above Kraljičina beach in Budva, accused certain media of "using their pain" and "making money with abnormal lies about blood revenge".
He spoke to "Vijesti" yesterday, after information appeared in a tabloid that the family of the murdered NT was preparing blood revenge.
On June 10, the XNUMX-year-old was killed by her boyfriend, Miloš Mitrović, who then shot himself with a gun.
"My brother lost the only child he had, for whom he and his daughter-in-law struggled and fought for 20 years. None of the Todorović family, and she has four uncles in addition to her father, never thought of blood revenge. I can't believe that someone is taking advantage of the torment that befell us and his family (Mitrović).
Our houses are wrapped in black... I really can't understand that someone in such a brazen way, with abnormal lies, uses all that to fill the budget", said Todorović.
He added that he would file a lawsuit to protect the family.
"We will sue everyone who takes advantage of the pain and horror we are going through and who wrote without any evidence that we are threatening blood revenge against the Mitrović family. I don't know where they got the right to write such untruths about a man whose daughter was killed by the unit, and who has not had a single criminal charge in his life, about my brother Nenad... This is a man who has been doing manual labor for more than 20 years. They wrote all sorts of things about my other brother Vasilij, but they didn't mention the other three of us," said Savo Todorović.
He says that the parents of the murdered nineteen-year-old girl are currently the biggest concern of the family, and claims that they never thought of prolonging the accident that befell them with revenge.
"My brother and daughter-in-law are in shock, they are not yet aware of what happened to them. Especially NT's mother, whom we are keeping so that she doesn't kill herself. Blood revenge is not on our mind at all, but the whole family is looking at how to get their brother and daughter-in-law out of the crisis. I really can't believe that anyone has the heart and soul to even think something so sick, let alone write and publish it without any evidence. If there was even a glimmer of truth in that, the police would have reacted, they would not have remained silent and let bloodshed ensue. No one from the police even called us. "Tomorrow is the third morning of our wonderful child who was killed, we don't know what hit us, and someone gave himself the right to accuse us of preparing blood revenge", he said.
Todorović said that the murdered NT was brought up properly, and that all the people of Budva can testify to that.
"That was her first boyfriend and he took her life. We have enough trouble without the media accusing us of preparing criminal acts," he said.
