Montenegrin boxer Milorad Žižić defeated Azerbaijani Rahman Mustafa Yusubov this morning in El Paso, Texas, in a match for the rating on the WBC list.
He won by stoppage in the fifth round.
"Let's move on. The match was a real war, exactly what the audience likes. A short rest follows, then back to work," Žižić wrote on his Facebook profile.
Žižić registered his 12th victory in the professional ring, and his second in his third match in the United States of America.
At the end of last year in Charlotte, he defeated the American Denis Sharp, while in the middle of March in Phoenix, he was defeated by the American Louis Rose, in the match for the US champion.
In 2011, Žižić was the youth champion of the world in the IBF version, and two years later, with a victory against Francesco Bazile, he won the belt of the WBC champion of the Mediterranean.
In mid-September last year, he signed a contract with legendary boxer Roy Jones Jr., who will be his promoter for the next four years.
Jusubov experienced 21 defeats in his 32nd match in the professional ring.
