Is Pobjeda out of bankruptcy?

Judge Danilo Jegdić announced that he will ask the Commercial Court for information on whether "Pobjeda" has emerged from bankruptcy and what is the legal position of that company after the end of the bankruptcy proceedings.

The representative of Milka Tadić Mijović and Milena Perović Korać asked earlier to continue the proceedings initiated by the journalists of "Monitor" against "Pobjeda", because, as he said, that state-owned newspaper came out of bankruptcy.

Lawyer Aleksandar Đurišić submitted a report from the website of the Central Registry of the Commercial Court, in which it is written that the company was declared bankrupt.

The judge stated that this is not enough to continue the proceedings against Pobjeda, but an official document from the Commercial Court must be obtained.

The dispute continues on June 15.

Journalists initiated a dispute against "Pobjeda" and former editor-in-chief Srđan Kusovac, due to insults and hate speech in articles published by the newspaper from June 2011 to April 2012.

In the meantime, the proceedings against "Pobjeda" were terminated because it was in bankruptcy.

"Pobjeda" then published texts by Marko Vešović and Šekio Radončić, which Kusovac called a work of literature, in which they called female journalists "scumbags", "mutts", "sluts", "criminal team of journalists", "hollowheads", "professional forgers ", "hunting fans", "media thugs in skirts", "dumb as a wheel", "kilomudic girls", "rally fans in skirts"...
