The exhibition of paintings by academic painter Srđan Vukčević "Lake of Hypnos" was opened in an unusual way - in a large tent on the right bank of Morača in the park near Blažovo Most.
"The goal of this kind of exhibition is for the visitors of the exhibition to be in constant contact with the artist," said Vukčević.
He added that he made similar exhibitions in France, in Paris, on the Cote d'Azur, and now in his native country. Vukčević exhibited in several European countries, and since 1980 he has been living and creating in Paris.
For the last ten years, he has been creating in Paris, Podgorica and Herceg Novi.
Citizens can view Vukčević's works in the next ten days.
"I got the permission to set up the tent from the capital city, and for this way of presenting art, I also found the understanding of the Ministry of Culture", said Vukčević.
The large white tent, between the Blaž Jovanović bridge and the "Podgorica" hotel, attracted the attention of many citizens yesterday, and various comments were heard. Some thought that the tent was set up for a wedding, others that it was a playground.
