The exhibition of the "Octos" map will be held in the Journalist House, and the director of the National Library of Montenegro "Đurđe Crnojević" Jelena Đurović, academics Dimitrije Popović and Tonko Maroević, political scientist Danilo Ivezić and CNP actor Slobodan Marunović will speak on the topic.
The pages of the graphic map "Oktoih" 1494 - 2014" are not illustrations from the first-hand Oktoih, but are an expression of inspiration that honors this book, its spiritual and aesthetic value in a modern way.
The compositions of the graphic sheets are based on the letters that make up the word Oktoih.
The basis of the composition is a Cyrillic letter taken from the initials or texts of this church book. Over the original letters, their modern modification is developed as an artistic abstract sign.
The presentation of the graphic map "October 1494-2014" is a program organized by the Council of the Montenegrin National Minority of Zagreb and the Society of Montenegrins and Friends of Montenegro "Montenegro" from Zagreb.
