Montenegrin boxer Milorad Žižić failed to win the title of champion of the United States of America in the middle category, version of the WBC.
This morning in Phoenix, Žižić lost to American Luis Rose by stoppage in the sixth round.
It is the first defeat of Žižić, after 11 consecutive triumphs in the professional ring.
"I failed, Rose was better. I apologize to everyone who expected me to win. I will come back stronger, I promise," said Žižić on his Facebook profile.

Rose registered his 12th triumph, and as a professional he also has two defeats, while he boxed one fight to a draw.
"The match didn't go the way I planned. In the first round I broke my nose and that messed up my whole plan. I had some good moments and I shook Rose twice, but it wasn't enough. I lost by stoppage, but I didn't give up. the referee stopped the fight," added Žižić to the MINA agency.
It was Žižić's second match in the United States of America, after he beat the American Denis Sharp in Charlotte at the end of last year.
