The first in a series of hip hop parties called "Groove Nation" will be held tonight in Podgorica cafe "Trajb". The start is scheduled for 22:XNUMX, and the entrance will be free.
The visitors will be entertained with his selection of songs by Poetik, a member of the Podgorica rap group JJ Okoča, who announced "a musical journey from the birth of rap in the South Bronx to the current trap hits of Memphis and Chicago". An "open mic" will also be organized, so those interested will be able to "throw rhymes" if they want.
"In the absence of similar events, the series 'Groove Nation' was launched, which will be held in the cafe 'Tribe' every Thursday of the first and third week of the month, with the aim of gathering local fans and actors of hip hop culture.
We hope that this is just the beginning of a wonderful friendship and a series of good times and important gatherings where they would exchange knowledge, experiences and ideas and work together to popularize hip hop culture in Podgorica and Montenegro. Can't stop, won't stop, all party blacks and Montenegrins, see you there!", said the organizers, who announced that film screenings, debates, freestyle and breakdance battles and various other contents can be expected at the upcoming gatherings.
