Bolt runs 100 meters in Paris after five years

The fastest man on the planet, Usain Bolt, will run 100 meters at the Diamond League meeting in Paris after a five-year break, the organizers announced today.

The Jamaican, who holds the record in Paris with a time of 9,79 seconds, retired last year with a foot injury.

The meeting in Paris will be held on July 4 at the France Stadium.

Bolt has not yet confirmed which competitions he will participate in until the start of the World Championships in Beijing, which will be held from August 22 to 30.
