An improvised explosive device was activated on Friday evening in front of the ground floor door of the house of Jelena Jeknić in the Zagorič neighborhood of Podgorica.
The device was activated shortly after 23 p.m., and the impact knocked out the entrance door on the ground floor and caused damage in the hallway of the apartment.
"It's about some improvised explosive device, which I activate in front of the entrance door on the ground floor. A tenant in the Jeknić house lives in that apartment," the police told "Vijesti".
At the time of the attack, there was no one on the ground floor of the house, but there were family members in the apartment on the first floor.
"No one was injured in the attack because there was no one in the yard or in the apartment on the ground floor," they said in UP.
Inspectors for fires, explosions and accidents conducted an investigation with an expert for that profession in Zagorič, and the evidence will be sent to the Forensic Center in Danilovgrad in order to try to find the name of the attacker.
Jelena Jeknić, in front of whose house the device was activated two summers ago, led a dispute with "Morski dobro" regarding the tender for the lease of the beach in Čanje.
At the time, "MD" claimed that she had started the arrangement of the swimming pool before the contract was concluded with them as the first-ranked in the tender.
Due to the activation of the surveillance, the police detained the members of the self-proclaimed clan from Zagorič on Friday evening and yesterday morning, and they asked them for information about the alibi.
