The Cetinje Basic State Prosecutor's Office filed a criminal complaint for violent behavior against Miloš Božović from Cetinje, to the detriment of the referee of the Football Association of Montenegro (FSCG), Aleksandar Marković (42).
The FSCG judge reported to the police that Božović waited for him early Sunday morning in front of the "Pećina" bar on Balšića Pazar in the center of Cetinje and fired at least seven bullets at him.
After the incident, the inspectors searched for Božović at his home address, where they did not find him. After a few hours, he appeared at the Cetinje police station and denied that he had shot the judge.
In order to confirm Marković's allegations, the police took a paraffin glove and a jacket from Božović. The material evidence was forwarded to the Forensic Center in Danilovgrad. The investigation into the shooting is ongoing, findings are still pending.
Judge FSCG previously told the police that he managed to get through the shooting without injury because he got behind a nearby car at the last moment. While waiting for the forensic findings, the prosecutor prosecuted Božović for violence.
Božović: I did not shoot at my friend
Božović said that he did not shoot Marković. He reacted to the text "Seven shots at the FSCG judge".
"The text claims that I, Miloš Božović, stood in front of the Pećina bar in Cetinje and fired seven shots at the named Aleksandar Marković. It is also stated that I am on the run and that the police are intensively searching for me. It is true that I in a drunken state, had an argument and disgust with Marković, which ended with the separation of those present and subsequent reconciliation. I state that I am a friend and comrade with the Marković family, and because of my good relations with them, and for the sake of the public, I deny your information," said Božović.
