The car of Nikola Perović from Podgorica, the son of businessman Dragan Perović, was almost destroyed in the explosion that happened last night around 23.20 pm in the center of Podgorica.
No one was injured in the explosion, and parts of the vehicle were scattered on the street. Perović's "Audi A8" with registration number PG-DZ675 was parked in Vuka Karadžića Street, in front of Cafe Nero, in the immediate vicinity of the Ministry of Justice and the High Prosecutor's Office.
The residents of one of the buildings in that street could not specify whether Perović lived in their neighborhood, but they said that the destroyed car was often parked in that location.
One of the tenants said that the explosion woke her up from her sleep.
"It made me fly two meters out of bed. The explosion was so strong that I'm still shaking," she told the "Vijesti" reporter half an hour before midnight.
Last night, during the investigation, Podgorica inspectors removed traces, but also interrogated the tenants of nearby buildings in order to find possible eyewitnesses. Last night's attack on Perović's fleet was the second in the past six months - on June 11, the "Mercedes" belonging to the elder Perović, which was used by his daughter Ana Marović, was completely burnt down in an arson attack.
Dragan Perović is the former owner of Pro Monte. He is currently the owner of the hotel "Hemera" in Podgorica and the chain of hotels and restaurants "Astoria" in Budva, Kotor and Podgorica.
