Mirko Popović was found yesterday in Sinjavina - in the difficult-to-access town of Bistre vode, after six days of searching.
The thirty-five-year-old man from Danilovgrad was found by the locals of Bistrica, who participated in the search with members of the rescue services and mountaineers in the past few days.
According to Dr. Miloj Zejak, his state of health is good.
"During the first examination, he was stable. His blood pressure, heart rate and breathing are normal. He has swelling on his lower legs, which may be the result of frostbite or indicate kidney problems. This will be determined by further analyses. "He is aware and talked about what he experienced in the past six days," said Zejak.
Popović told the doctors that he spent all six days "trapped" between the rocks above Bistrica Katun, without food and in the open air.
As he said, he never managed to find a way out of the beams, so he moved only ten meters from the place where he was found.
As he said, he spent the day on a rock and slept under a tree.
The group of men who found him, carried him on horseback to the nearby huts, after which he was taken over by the team of the Mojkovac Health Center.
Popović disappeared on Friday after 13:XNUMX p.m., when he left the village near the Ruzica church, where his family's hut is located, to replace his brother in tending the sheep.
His brother Ranko returned to the cabin on Friday evening and then he and his father found out that Mirko was lost, because he didn't even show up at the place where he was supposed to take over the herd.
According to portage participants, the place where Popović was found is close to 15 km from the place where he was supposed to meet his brother.
