Milan Grgurović, from Danilovgrad, was acquitted of falsely reporting that he had threatened "Vijesti" journalist Olivera Lakić.
Judge Goran Đuković made such a decision, after the High Court twice overturned the verdict of Judge Željka Jovović, who previously twice sentenced him to a maximum prison term of one year.
Đuković, at the sentencing, said that the defendant did not report himself to the police, and that there is no written record, official note, etc. that would prove that he reported himself to the police.
"When he was questioned as a suspect, he was able to defend himself as he wished," Đuković stated.

Jasavić claimed in the proceedings that on two occasions they searched for Grgurović's home, but did not find him, while Lakić said that he searched for Grgurović, but that there was no record of it, because the operation was secret.
Police officer Milenko Rabrenović, who was previously in charge of the security of former police chief Veselin Veljović, is on trial in Podgorica Basic Court for threatening Lakić.
Journalist Lakić was physically attacked in March two years ago, and Ivan Bušković was convicted of the attack. The motive has not been established.
