The Montenegrin police arrested Ljub Radulović (57) from Podgorica early this morning, on suspicion of having tried to kill fellow citizen Vuk Stijepović.
The police suspect that Radulović fired a pistol at Stijepović and wounded him in the left leg on Thursday around 17:XNUMX p.m. in the "Monte Laguna" restaurant in the Zagorič neighborhood of Podgorica.
After that, Radulovć fled, and the injured Stijepović was transported to the Emergency Medical Service in Podgorica, and then he was sent to the Emergency Block of the Clinical Center, where it was determined that he had suffered three injuries from a firearm projectile.
"The Deputy High State Prosecutor in Podgorica was informed about the event. An investigation was carried out on the spot, and the recovered items and traces were sent to the Forensic Center for expert examination," the Police Administration said in a statement.
After an intensive search, Radulović was found and arrested around one hour after midnight in the Masline neighborhood.
The suspect is also charged with the criminal offense of illegal possession of weapons and explosive materials. He was brought before the competent prosecutor today, along with a criminal complaint.
