Mitar Ceković (17) from Podgorica was injured yesterday around 14 pm in Rista Stijovića Street.
According to "Vijesti" unofficial information from the police, Ceković was beaten with a stick by his fellow citizen and acquaintance Boško Prelevic.
After the attack, the injured man was transported to the Emergency Center with head injuries, where he was treated. His father was with Ceković in Urgentno.
"MC suffered lacerations to his head and injuries to his extremities. Due to his injuries, he was kept under observation for several hours. After being bandaged, he was released shortly before 19:XNUMX p.m. for home treatment," the Clinical Center informed "Vijesta".
After receiving information about the incident, the Podgorica police hired patrols that searched for Prelevic yesterday.
According to the same information, Prelevic first invited Ceković to meet, and after he came out, he beat him about a hundred meters from his family home.
The reason for the attack is the debt that Ceković allegedly owes to the attacker.
The "Vijesti" journalist spoke yesterday with the mother of the injured man, who said that she did not know who and why he could have attacked her son.
"My son is seventeen years old and I don't know who could have beaten him so brutally," said the tearful mother of Ceković.
Residents of Rista Stijovića Street said that they heard shouting, wailing and sirens yesterday around 14 pm.
"At first I didn't know what happened, later I heard that the child was beaten from a neighbor. I don't know anything else," said the local woman, who wished to remain anonymous.
