Nikola Mijanović, a resident of Nikšić, had a five-year-old dog that died after he ate poison somewhere during a walk.
"We went past the School of Economics and Mechanical Engineering and past the neighborhood in Rudo Polje. When he came home he was no longer lively, he calmed down and I took him to the vet. They kept him alive for two days, but he died. "Somewhere where we were walking, someone spilled poison and that's how my dog was poisoned," says Mijanović.
It is a pug breed, a cheerful, loyal and family-oriented dog, especially for children.
"That poison was certainly intended for stray dogs, but a child could have died instead of my pet," says Nikola.
He appealed to the city to finally build "that asylum, in order to protect both people and animals".
"I believe that the Municipality is only to blame for my dog being poisoned," Mijanović said.
